OPI E75 Can't Find My Czechbook + OOTD

This is OPI E75 Can't Find My Czechbook. I have to say this is my absolute favourite shade of blue!! I am a sucker for light purple and this kind of blue nail color kekee >;3

Unlike OPI Whats With the  Cattitude? The formula of this one is very easy to work with, very smooth and one coat is all you need! Out my of habit, I did two coats anyway :3 with no topcoat!

The first picture is most accurate to the color in real life!

>//< I love this color!! I dont care if its winter or not! I have this color on my nails right now! Rawr!

Essie 717 Lapis of Luxury

This is Essie 717 Lapis of Luxury from the Resort 2010 collection. It is a blue jelly and I did 2 thin coats and 1 thick coat to opaque. However, unlike some polishes which look best at 3, this one can be worn at 2 coats for a jelly finish. This is on the sheer side and the dry time was fast.

Two thin coats & one thick coat with no topcoat:

Essie 828 Under Where? + OPI SR E96 More Than Glimmer

This is Essie Under Where? This is the kind of color I will never get bored of !! I have many of this kind of pink/purple in my collection! I got this nail color when I was on vacation in Hong Kong haha !! I just couldn't wait until I came back to Canada! =p

All of the pictures showing are quite accurate to the color in real life. Under the indoor lighting you most likely get the color like the 3rd, 4th, 5th picture.

The texture is very smooth! Just like other Essie's. This one is even easier to work with, Its a pink cream. If you are careful, one coat is all you need :3 I did two =,=" Yes..I am clumsy X.X

Two coats with no top coat:

Valentine Leopard Gel Nail (Valentine 2013)

This set is actually from Valentines 2013 despite the fact that I am posting this almost a year late :) . So for Valentines Day, of course I decided to go with the season and did something that match it. Ended up with a valentine pink base with heart-shaped leopards with some Swarovski rhinestones and a pair of bow on each hand. I loved how it came together, also matching the Valentine season :3 This set cost $60 and was gifted by my boyfriend. Thank you for reading :p

NUBAR Boyfriend Jeans

This is Nubar Boyfriend Jeans and the only Nubar I have in my collection. What so special about this nail polish is that it is a dupe of Chanel Blue Boy!! Chanel Blue Boy is from the Les Jeans de Chanel Collection, which came out in 2011. It was first introduced in USA and Asia. Canada waited for almost a year to finally have these.

The formula of  Nubar Boyfriend Jeans is more on a sheer side and like a jelly. You need more than one coat to be opaque. I did three but I think two is enough. Its glossy because of the jelly finish & It dries fast!!!which I love!

Here is three coats with no topcoat !
Under natural lighting:

Chanel 18 Rouge Noir

I am  finally back to nail polish =p
Today I am wearing this dark brown, burgundy color, called Rouge Noir by Chanel.
Its very smooth and creamy! Very easy to work with !
Just by looking at the bottle, you may think this is just another boring vampy color. However, it turns to a warm reddish brown, reminds me of red wine and fire place.
It looks purple under the light.

Hand Cream Haul From Crabtree & Evelyn :3

Today, I received a giant box from a courier and I didn't know what it was until I read the label on the tag. I ordered this awhile back online and I almost forgot about it since I was too busy focusing on exams and school.

Here is a size comparison of the box :3

Tiffany blue & petals gel nails by Luv' IN Nails

I got this set from the same nail salon which is Luv' IN Nails, which is located in Splendid China Tower. Another girl called Winnie did my nails. I chose to go simple this time so I end up with a tiffany blue french nails with matching the blue green transparent loose glitter to blend with the tip color. I also added two white roses for $3 each. The roses I added this time were much cheaper because they were made out of a mold instead of carving with pen and sculpture powder. This set cost $36.

My first ever Gel Nails! (October 2012)

This nail set was the first time I ever went to a Nail Salon and got my nails done in my life. My boyfriend convinced me to go try it once since I always wanted to try it out. After reading many reviews about local Nail Salons, I ended up choosing one call Luv'In Nails (Splendid China Tower). I was super nervous when I got there because the Salon was so tiny and crowded with customers and very Hot :< ! I don't remember how I decided to choose this design but it turned out to be ok and I really Loved it (ontop of being my first time :3). Given my first time, it was a learning experience for me as although the end result looks great, there are some flaws to it. However, before I get into that, take a look at the photos :3

Very match with IPhone Case at the time :3

Fourth set of gel nails I did in Hong Kong - Mong Kok Ginza Plaza

A review of Hong Kong Gel Nails
This set was my last set of gel nails I did in Hong Kong during my 2013 summer vacation. It is also my favorite one out of the four sets, and it was also the cheapest one :3 even though it should have been the most expensive. It was very cheap to get this done because the store offered a trial where you could do any design for HKD $298 (approx. CAD $40) first time and HKD 378 (Approx. CAD $50) every other time. I actually wanted to get my nails done at this store earlier on in my trip but they were always fully booked, everyday of the week, every month.

Third set of gel nails I did in Hong Kong - Mong Kok West

A review of Hong Kong Gel Nails
This set is from a store that offered a "$300HKD  Any design" (around $40 CAD) package.  I forgot the name of the store, but its located in Kowloon, Mong Kok West.

Here is the set I got from there.

I really liked how it turned out but I was worried at first that it wasn't going to turn out well. The nail technician took a total 40 minutes to complete this from start to finish. Compared to my previous two gel nails in Hong Kong, they each took about 3 Hours each, both times.

 the true color
The nail technician was very rushed and she kept chatting with one of her friends the whole time. During the process of removing my previous gel nails, she was very rough with the drill and thinned my natural nail :(

Second set of gel nails I did in Hong Kong - Rainbows Nail

A review of Hong Kong Gel Nails
This is the second set of gel nails I did when I was in Hong Kong. I did it at the same store I went for my first one which you can see here :3 I actually really like how they put on a thicker layer of clear gel base. I noticed that HK has a larger variety of colors especially the pinks and the blues.

This design was actually an inspiration from the Little Twin Stars :3

Gel Nails I did on vacation in Hong Kong - Rainbows Nail

A review of Hong Kong Gel Nails
I spent my last summer in Hong Kong for vacation and I stayed there for almost three months=) I heard getting gel nails done in Hong Kong is cheaper than getting it in Canada so how could I miss the chance ;P I did some research and I wanted to make sure that it is reliable because I am getting hard gel nails and the process of removing it can make your nails weaker and thinner if the nail technician is not experienced.

This set cost me around $360HKD so its around $50 CAD.

I am doing a post on this gel nail because I really like the 3D flower sculptures they did! The store I usually go to in Canada only does one color 3D sculptures on nails. I hope they offer different colors or overlapping in the future!!

If you are interested to know where is this place in Hong Kong , welcome to leave me a comment!!

Here are pictures :3 !!

really like the overlapping flowers!
